You point out something important in that what all these different mediums really give us is choice in the delivery, format and style of news and information that we get.  Some days you&#039;ll want hard news in the style of news.com, the next a cup of coffee with your newspaper, and the third a podcast of opinionated news on the run (or all in one day as this would describe just my day today).</description>

		<description>Thanks for this very insightful post Ephraim! I wouldn&#039;t have said it any other way. Of course, traditional media won&#039;t just vanish because of social media. And of course, social media will hurt traditional media since there&#039;s just not enough time. So some days, I won&#039;t have time to read the paper (well...at least not leisurely) and some days, I won&#039;t read blog &#039;cause I am on the road (well...I might listen to a downloaded podcast on my iPod). The major problem (for the media industry) is that the pieces of the media pie get smaller and smaller the more media types we add.</description>
